I love the people saying Dallas' goalkeeping was their downfall then we pitch a shutoout in game one.

The Flyers blog agreed with me on Simmonds being stupid, though they were nicer about it:

You got to let some things go.

But on the flip side, you can argue that there were consequences already. The Flyers were about to get a huge power play, and by jumping in -- bad call or not -- Simmonds negated that opportunity for his team. Even worse, it took Simmonds off the ice, and he is a much better hockey player than Wilson.

How soon will we see him get to use his etiquette tips?

Lucic and Chara were a couple of damn dirty apes on the same team. Speaking of which, I miss their biggest fan (my man Fat Bastard), scrapping with you on here. I know I've seen glimpses of him backing TRUMP on the poliboard, so at least he is alive and well out there.

You miss him? I do not and his horrific memes and gifs.
Then him blasting me and Slinger for not being real hockey fans because we don't agree with him.
Ehh I guess there is always that one.
Last time I saw him he was posting in a softball thread and telling everyone how great of a coach he is and he can get anyone recruited.

In all fairness, their #1 played for the Thrashers.
On a side note, is hockey this irrelevant that we have to have one thread for the entire playoffs? Even the dang soccer board starts a new thread for each match day.

To be fair, it was against a very depleted Minnesota team. Not taking anything away from Kari though, as he looked great and very relaxed last night in the pipes in limited action on that side of the rink.
However, Dallas's defense, goaltending, and penalty kill have stepped up in HUGE fashion the past month and a half. They have shown teams they can beat you in different ways other than just trying to win high-scoring affairs. The comeback against a hard-nosed Kings team in LA a couple of weeks ago showed that the Stars can even play the physical game as well.
The Roussel-Faksa-Hemsky line has been great with Roussel's hustle and peskiness and Faksa's PK and defensive prowess to shut down the opponent's top center (not to forget Faksa and Hemsky can get it done offensively as well). And do not get me started on the way Spezza has been playing as of late - he is playing out his mind. If Dallas can stay healthy (even though they are one of the deepest, if not the deepest team in the NHL) and can keep up this balanced play style for the rest of the playoffs, they are going to be a VERY scary team.
Geaux Stars Geaux!
ETA: Plus we have been doing a lot of this without Seguin, and he is scheduled to be back in the lineup tomorrow
