Not if another team was making an offer for 10. Jets weren't going to take McCarthy but Denver was right there.

They had to have a QB or Jefferson was going to jet.

Plenty of teams would have taken jj there . Even the jets could have because Rodgers isn't young. I'd laugh if Rodgers had to go through that again
