Pearson was batting 350 before last game I beleive. im sure it dropped after the game though

why the discussion of benching york? he gets walked a lot and has power. Jay said in the interview after the game that Pearson playing first the other night was a personnel mistake by him. i think his plan is to play yorke every game at 1st
although if we had someone capable of playing a bit better defense then we could dh yorke and possibly get a different bat in the lineup if they shuffle things up that way.
not sure who that would be though.
serna wouldn't really be worth a dh spot in my opinion,he hasn't shown much but he may get better with abs and the ceiling is high.

I fully expect us to get hot eventually its just taking a bit longer than i anticipated and the defense usually isnt a hot/cold thing

I wish the whole team would take a weekend to just approach their abs like Alex millazo did his senior year. take a bunch of pitches ,bunt when the matchup isnt favorable and try to hit line drives

yeah I mean, one of the young guys could put together a DC type season,given a chance. not to mention the speed we have on the bench with harden and Patrick.. pretty sure harden has had a bunch of abs before didnt he start every game in juco last year. he can run and hits the ball hard on a line
