ron id need a top 10 hitter in return and while u have some good hitters, none are really in that top 10 range

it's not rouge's tainted MBA anymore. I changed it to keep my job in these tough economic times
Posted on 2/9/09 at 9:06 pm to TigerPhan27
state jobs are recession proof, right?
Posted on 2/9/09 at 9:07 pm to Rouge
not really, besides if my director were to get an email saying that i was making fun of one of my fellow fantasy baseball members I would most certaintly be fired on the spot

peavy is still a pitcher, and hitters are much more valuable. while peavy is the shite, im not unloading a top ten hitter. hell, i dont even think i would give up beltran for him
if you wanted to do a multi player trade though, we could talk about that

Why are they much more valuable?

if you wouldnt do Beltran for him, then i dont think we need to explore anymore

hitters are playing 5-6 games a week, pitchers two at most
stud hitters > stud pitchers

that still doesnt make sense because pitchers earn their own stats
try again

I'd love to have Peavy... but I don't have much between A-Rod/Pujols and Miguel Tejada to offer you... and neither of those would be a fair trade.
Plus depending on the trade with Ron, I already have 3 or 4 starters, I don't know that I need to keep any more than that.

Posted on 2/9/09 at 9:17 pm to LSUBoo
DOES ANYONE WANT ARAMIS RAMIREZ???????
Posted on 2/9/09 at 9:17 pm to LSUBoo
im not expecting Pujols or ARod straight up...arguably the 2 top guys. Hard to trade them without getting a hitter to soften the blow
