Drew and Gonzalez are two I was leaning to.
If I keep Drew though I would have 8 bats and only 4 pitchers.

That's pretty common, NOBes. I'm keeping 8 and 4 as well.

Ok...I am having a tough time gauging what is most valuable and what will be scarce on draft day.

Well, remember that position players play everyday and it's not terribly difficult to find a spot starting pitcher here and there.

From what I understand C's are pretty scarce????

dont really over value what is more valuable and what isnt.
go with your team strengths, and come draft, fill in the deficiencies early in the draft.
if i were you though, id def keep the 3 starters. Maybe even Wellmeyer too.

Yeah, but after the first few (which are being kept by other teams), the rest of the bunch are pretty comparable. Comparably shitty, that is.

So keeping Pierzinski over Drew, Gonzalez or Wellemeyer wouldnt be a good idea?

I wouldn't keep AJ over any of them.
Then again, I'm keeping Kelly Shoppach as it stands now, unless Saltalamacchia is guaranteed to be the everyday catcher in Texas. But, I don't have as many decent options as you do.

much better than AJ

I agree, but I said that because I would probably not keep him if I had the options that NOBes does.

i wouldnt keep Pierzinski, but thats just me. He's solid, but id go with the safe things

Posted on 2/27/09 at 4:53 pm to NOBODY
