That's a funny way to put it...since I demolished your lame argument.

read up on ad hominem and red herring. You're great at those, but they aren't good arguments.

I'll leave you alone with your hate.

Oh, and are fans of prestigious and historic athletic programs supposed to hate little ole programs like Tech? A tad unhealthy some might say...that is if anybody cared.

Let's get some NW State folks on to give Tech crap about screwing up the State Fair Game, too.

Think I already did that. Love the Demons. And those used to be some great games.

In case this is a serious point, I'll side with Tech here. Assuming NSU wanted to play Tech badly enough, they'd move up to FBS.

NSU has a serious and realistic view of the world. It is, as I've said, the Harvard on Cane River.

When Dooley leaves, he'll have left you a new weight room that is almost as good as West Monroe High School's,

Which begs the question, do you think Lolly Polly would have the balls to play West Monroe?

Recall back a few years ago, Evangel and West Monroe were 5A powerhouses and had some great showdowns. I always wondered why Tech didn't try to get the games held in their stadium; since it sat between the two (though of course closer to WM), and Tech could potentially use the event as a way to recruit players from the respective schools.

Then I realized the reason they never pursued this. They wouldn't want to run the risk of the largest crowd in their stadium having been for a high school game.

Here's my thing, and why I responded to this thread when you first posted it.

I was born and raised in Shreveport. I want North Louisiana to do well because, for so long, its been arse backwards.

I see Tech doing well. They are doing a number of things and moving forward. Coach Dooley seems to "get it", and that excites me.

I see ULM blaming Tech, and the lack of this game occurring, more than building up their program. If Tech's solution to their program's problems have been facility upgrades, new video board, new coach, new scheduling philosophy...what have ULM's solutions been?

It seems, by reading this board, that their solution is "blame Tech not playing us". And that's a really shitty solution IMO.

You dont get it. Tech and ULMs problems are the same. Same size school, same funding, same crowd #s,etc. The answer for a few of their problems are also the same.

One solution for Northeast would be to make it a JUCO. That way it could live up to it's full potential.

Tech's worst nightmare, for some reason, is to lose to ULM. This makes no sense because no matter what happens to Tech, nobody on Earth gives a shite about Tech; this will always be true.

Wouldn't be an issue, but Tech is a collective pussy that is afraid to play ULM. Therefore, ULM resorts to alternative methods, and Arkansas was happy to oblige.

If La Tech is getting home and homes with Mississippi State, why would they want a home and home with ULM??

Nichols State is an easy beatdown game that dosen't require a return trip, if I remember correctly that was a major hangup in the LT-ULM series, ULM wanted a home date and LT balked.

Terry Bradshaw has admitted on national television that he wanted to go to LSU, but wasn't smart enough.

Just for the record . . .

Bobby Hebert attended Northwestern St. So did Jackie Smith.
