I would like to see allen and Katy play. Allen is probably the best team. But Taylor is the best player in Texas. Be a great game.

And Katy's QB had a jacked up leg which severely limited him.

Do people in River Oaks actually send their kids to Lamar? I was always under the assumption that the hard-core River Oaks types had them a nice little private school where the kids wear blazers with the school coat of arms on the breast

Arguable, but any poll that puts JC over Katy deserves a

I grew up in Louisiana, played prep football here, and Texas 5A is a different animal.

I would love to see some consolidations in Louisiana where you'd have programs like Katy and SL Carroll and Allen. The problem we have here is so many of our cities have bad schools, sort of like a state full of HISDs, lol. You can combine schools, but if nobody wants to send their kids to the new school, the enrollment will plummet.

What I would like to see, if, say Dutchtown or Denham Springs continue to grow, instead of opening a new school, expand those campuses, offer new and better academic programs at those schools, and have schools with 2,500-3k students. Nothing wrong with it.

Is Lamar the only school in HISD people still want to send their kids to? I see its enrollment is 3,400. You could combine McKinley, Tara and Broadmoor and barely get that enrollment.
