The Cy Fair stadium is unreal...and it serves all of CFISD if I am not mistaken........now the fact that the district has all kinds of budget problems is another story.......
Katy ISD has a nice arena now.....I think they host the SWAC basketball tourny. They still play at Rhodes Stadium, but I think they too are getting a new unreal football stadium.

Yeah, it hosts the Southland Conference Tournament. I wouldn't be surprised to see Katy get a bad arse football stadium - it's long overdue.

Rhodes is awful....but I think they replaced the Astroturf. That thing was a bitch to play on when I was in school.

We see were their property taxes go.
$219 mil on 2 new elementary schools as well in Allen. That school is huge and still growing.
No state income tax. I have no problem with the property taxes. The taxes for school districts go along way to keep the property value up.

I think Tulsa Union has the nicest facilities for high school in the area (150 mile radius) of NWA. They used to hold the Summitt Conference tourney in their gym.

Here's where I played...oh and so did Drew Brees. I haven't been back out to check it out but they've supposedly expanded it in the last few years. According to the website I took the picture from they've upped the capacity to a little over 10,000

I know Allen is a nice area but c'mon do they really need that. I can understand Trinty or Southlake but not a 60M stadium.

They needed to upgrade it. Their current stadium is large, but completely made of metal bleachers. It's far behind most of the other HS football stadiums in Texas.

Exactly. Schools have a major impact on where families decide to relocate to. As long as the schools are still turning out a well above average education, which I am inclined to think they are.. Then I have no problem with these badass stadiums.
