Texas was a foot away from scoring in the first half
They did end up losing the game, but those were two outstanding defenses and offenses that weren't trying to do too much

Well they accomplished that. I’m just saying we had some very exciting games so far this weekend and you would think 1 vs 3 would be one of them, it far from it.

Sark and Day absolutely coached to not make big mistakes and keep it close. To Sark's defense, he could have won with the conservative game plan if they cashed in on the red zone opportunities. But, I feel like the approach may have been different if we didn't have a 12 team playoff.

A week 1 loss (especially on the road at #3) never totally killed your chances though… Texas has the whole season to climb back up the polls. They can’t be lower than #5 or so
