Riley has a 33% KO percentage in Gwinett. He will get crushed in the majors right now.

I think catcher and the outfield is the area to focus. Markakis is getting old. Ender has some years left but isn't the guy.

We need a shite ton of bullpen help.

Seems like a lot but that may be light. He is probably going to be coming off a Cy Young with a shite ton of control and he is the only starter currently healthy on their big league roster. He might be the most valuable pitching commodity in the game right now.

Markakis is working on an 80 wRC+ since July 4th. Don’t think we are even going to be able to QO him anymore.

Corbin would be an interesting signing but would probably force us to trade for a cheap impact bat. I think we’re going to need to sign one and trade for one that’s not as pricey.

Yea, I mean that’s the type of guy we need to go after though. We got Maddux coming off a cy young granted in free agency but still, we need elite established pitching

I really think outfield can come from in house with Pache (and Waters in 2020). Catcher is a huge hole on the roster for sure. The bench sucks too, especially without Culberson coming off of it and starting.

The problem is we have all these top prospects. Yet we aren’t using them as leverage. Besides the Royals, all the recent winners have made HUGE free agent signings to push them over the top. Yeah it’s great we have 10 of the top 100 prospects or whatever. But if we just let them linger in AA-AAA ball what good does it do is really.

I just have flashbacks of the Texiera trade every time we talk about large prospect packages.

The top prospects mostly play the same position, too (starting pitchers). They're blocked for awhile. We almost have to trade 2-3 of them at least.

I’m with you. I think now is the time to dip in to the extreme prospect capital and get at least 2 impact guys on the big league club.

The shittiest part of this series is knowing the Dodgers will lose to Milwaukee in 6 games. This team is nowhere close to being a true WS contender

Agree, we have prospects but they're not deeply spread across all positions. I'd love a solid young hitting catcher, and a power hitting right fielder. The bullpen can be nickledand dimed, starting pitching should be okay via prospect pool. But I'd love another solid starter. Julio and Newk can be sporadic.

Yeah Milwaukee looks incredible. The Dodgers are good but they're not this good. We just look like we dont belong
