Yeah, short sample size and all, but Simmons has hit better than Pastornicky in spring training so far, and is tremendously better defensively. Not that I really want him starting just because it would be a waste to rush him when his bat isn't ready, but it could be argued he is better than Pastornicky right now, jokingly or not.
