He's great with the glove, but has no range.

ETA: Well, that's what the advanced stats say, but those take about 3 years to give a true indication.

I happen to think he's very good.

His defense is pretty solid. I believe he will be an excellent first basemen in time.

Phew, glad we used Schafer there. His speed is a real asset when he's watching from the bench after striking out.
