There are going to be a lot of "upsets" this year. I haven't been truly impressed with any team this year. Hopefully this is the year for Butler..

Hazell if nothing else brings competence and being to coach up players. Something Purdue has been missing for a long time. Marve could have been a star in the big 10 this year and they could've made a lot more noise then they did. Those that follow the B1G know that this is a big hire for them.

I wanna get excited about this I really do and that was cool and frick Freddie walking off, but they have the slimmest shot at getting the division and all this assures them is a one game do or die with some team that has slept walk thru the whole season but gets 1 game to make up for the whole thing. so dumb.

anytime I click on the live feed on the nbc page I get a black blank screen...any other alternatives, all the video streaming links on first row require some sort of program that doesnt work for mac

I just moved back home for the summer and I setup my xbox on the big screen vizio in my basement and ever since I started playing like COD on it I've jsut been getting my arse handed to me, everything seems so much slower. Is that something I'm just gonna have to get use to or are their settings I can play with to help?

Blake Griffin would be a nobody if he couldn't throw down an alley oop. He's horrible defensively, and has no shot to speak of.

Yeah Paul George is gonna be great. My bet for the best player that came out of that draft..
Wall is just going to need time to learn how to play PG in the NBA. Athletically he's astounding, but that's the only way he's even getting by right now. Once he figures out how to play in the NBA and then combine that with his athleticism he'll be one of the best PG's in the game.

Agree with everything above. I play on all-star without touching the sliders and it's a real challenge. I've always loved the game and playing against my friends, but they never seem to fix players playing their position. My big men are always standing out near the perimeter.

Lol fine be content with above average players and maybe making the playoffs every now and again, and those awesome bottom of the first round picks. I'm jsut saying demand better for one of the elite nba players in his prime, but that's probably why the NBA owns your team because ya'll just don't care.

Odom, Scola, Dragic, and Kmart correct? Unless I missed someone, the only player I could maybe get excited about is Martin, and he played a combined total of 46 games the 2 years before last.

I'm arguing that New Orleans should get better in return, not that they shouldn't trade him. I'm arguing the system is completely f'd if the best they can get for a super star PG in his prime is f'ing Lamar Odom. If I was NO fan I'd be pissed that's all we got back for the face of a franchise, and demand better that's all I'm saying

You should expect a superstar or a collection of stars that aren't famous cause they are on a reality series and are past their prime.
Rondo and Jeff Green for example would be better.

I didn't say it was better. If you wanna be mediocre forever that's fine. Your trading away a talent that comes around so often. He's arguably the best player at his position in a league that's dominated by PG's.
But at least you'll be itching to get tickets to watch Odom and Kevin Martin........

How great were the teams those players played on? You're downgrading and your getting draft picks that will be outside the lottery.
I know it's hard to do better. But it's highway robbery. I have a problem with the system way more than the actual trade. The hornets are dead anyways. How much better does this make them? The super stars in this league have absolutely waaaaaaay to much power. Chris Paul is worth so much more than what they are getting in return, brand and talent wise. I'm glad it was shot down, and I hope in that as a result the Hornets get something better. You can let these superstars walk before their contract ends and get scrubs in return. The NBA might as well be a 10 team league.

This question stems from a recent trip I made to the "lovely" city of Columbia, South Carolina. Now obviously the statistics will say that any state school like SCar will be dominated by in-state kids, but I swear to god I saw more Yankee hats, New Jersey license plates, etc. then I have seen on any other campus I've been to. Granted there was ton of true southern frat stars, but I would absolutely hate going there if I was a Carolina native. That school might as well be renamed the University of Myrtle Beach.
Does UF, Vandy, even UGA maybe give Carolina a run for it's money IYO?

First ever time going to a midnight release. The wal-mart is a 2 minute drive from me, it's on a college campus though so I'm expecting a crowd but don't wanna go to early. Veterans of this practice, when should I depart?
