The reason people say that is it jumps his average WAAAAAAAAAAAAY up when most of his carries he didn't get more than 2-3 yards. In fact most of his carries he was hit in the backfield. I was really shocked when I saw his final stat line, because he had 2-3 plays where he wasn't hit after 1-2 steps. Anyway, you watched the game. You know he didn't get 9 yards every time he touched it like his average suggests.

Randle looks so good at QB, I'm not sure he should go back to WR at the next level. At the high school level, he's uncoverable though out wide.

That's consistent though, not just 1 big play. The kid's a monster and should skyrocket up the ratings. I can't wait to see him in P&G. I really hope Randle chooses to come to Red Stick as well. Those are two great game changers that I would take on my team in a heartbeat.

JJ, you dont think WM will be tested? Ruston looks good and Ouachita has some great players, Captain Shreve returns alot of players from the team that nearly beat us last year, and Byrd is supposedly very very good this year. I think our district has improved from last year.

I see 2-3 games that will be close the first half. Then Arledge and Stone will make their adjustments and WM will not have a game closer than 3 touchdowns in the regular season. Talked to a friend that coaches for Airline. He watched WM last week and played Byrd this week. He agrees that Byrd will not pose much of a problem. I watched Ruston and Ouachita at ULM and no...they won't be able to score enough to scare WM.
