Lol so is full retard your default mode or do you just go to it automatically when talking about Glass Joe?

It hurts that you're wrong. I get it. I know you have no data to refute what I said so you have to insult me. I feel sorry for you.

I don’t think tua will ever really get the dolphins to anything meaningful, but this is just factually wrong if you’re talking stats

quote:Thats a solid point. Market value kills reality. Hurts is not worth that money. Tua is but he’s one concussion from being done forever. Burrow has had a couple injuries but ones that you can fix and overcome. The concussions for Tua linger. Also Joe has when healthy, been to at least the conference title game. TLaw has been solid, won a playoff game. Tua has just shown some flash, sizzle but nothing.
Hell, Jalen Hurts is making 51 million and we all know he’s not better than any of these guys.

I upvoted your post so you’ll have a smile today.

Because that happened in your mind and not reality. Tannehill had an elite year in 2019, are you saying he did not?
Mind you, I wasn’t the one who brought up Tannehill to begin with - that was you. You tried to pull a gotcha and I put your arse in place.
I brought up Tannehill to show how weak of an argument it is to pick one stat in one year and use that as if someone is at the top of his position.
Did he have a good year in 2019? Yes, he was the comeback player of the year, but nobody confused him for anything more than a solid quarterback. Their offense was also centered almost entirely around Henry. Tannehill was 18th in touchdowns, bottom half of the league.
Jameis led the league in passing yards in 2019 with over 5,000. Are we supposed to think he's good?
You proceeded to essentially say Jake Browning is just as good as Burrow, which is a ridiculous assertion for anyone but a troll.

He started 10 games and was second in the league in td% behind Lamar Jackson who was the MVP that year.

He also had a great 2020 season. He’s obviously fallen off since then but my original points still stand.

He threw 30 ints and had a passer rating of 84.3 so no.

No, I pointed out correctly and factually that Jake Browning outplayed Burrow last season and the Bengals offense produced at a higher level with Browning as the starting quarterback. If you believe that is incorrect, then please present some evidence to the contrary.
But let’s be honest, there is no argument to say that Burrow deserves $50 million plus a year but Tua does not. Even if you believe that Burrow is the superior player (he’s not but I don’t care to go over that again and definitely not here), the difference between he and Tua is not big enough for their AAVs to be off by more than a million or two per year.
I’ll even reframe this to other QBs. There are currently 6 QBs with contracts that have their AAV over $50 million a year and they are
Burrow
Lawrence
Goff
Herbert
Jackson
Hurts
Tua is undisputedly better than 3 of those names.

With one less game, Burrow has 16 more touchdowns, the same amount of ints, a higher completion percentage, 2000 more yards, and as mentioned, a SB appearance.

You are seriously overinflating how “good” tua is

Then how is Burrow at the same number with more games missed than Tua?
Cause he is a much, much better qb with no concussion issues.

You’re vastly underrating him because of where he went to college.

I defended Tua earlier in the Tua/Burrow comparison.

Y’all really can’t accept reality in Louisiana, no wonder you’re the worst state lol.
You said it was a fact that Tua has had better high end production. This is objectively not a fact.
Burrow’s best > Tua’s best, at least so far. That would be why Burrow got the bag, and Tua is still waiting for his.

No you haven’t.
You seem to love passer rating. Burrow has the highest of the two in any given season (108.3) and the higher average over their careers.
Counting stats? All Burrow.
Team accomplishments? Again, all Burrow.
You’ve proven nothing. You’ve given your opinion, which is incorrect, and just keep saying it’s a fact.
No matter how you slice it, Burrow’s best has been better than Tua’s best, and that is an actual fact. It’s funny that you accused other people of being biased ITT when you clearly don’t see this objectively.
