The guy who started Under Armour is back in charge. They are refocusing on team sports, especially after losing some big time schools. He may very well throw a lot of money at Maryland to make them relevant.

Durant had to immense talent to score, a very good shot blocker but overall average defender. His move to Golden State while it got him two rings, forever tarnished his reputation. Joining a team that already won and was coming off 73 wins and a Game 7 finals loss, when his own Thunder were trying to break through, reeks of who he is.

If Landry was a smart man, which he isn’t, I’m calling corporate HQs and saying relocate to LA, and you must have at least 45% workforce in said HQ from Louisiana citizens.10-15 year no or little tax rates.

The real problem is there are too many games.
The highest non playoff team gets 1st pick. Make them compete for something. After 8 years of no playoff appearances we can sell your franchise or you can may an enormous fine, like 50% valuation of your team.
