I missed what they said but it had to be about taking the "under God" out of the pledge of allegiance. Main stream media is scared to death of offending the 3% of people in this country that don't want to see Christmas or any mention of God. I don't understand why they aren't scared to offend the 75% of this country that doesn't mind seeing it.

Didn't see it, but I assume "under God" was omitted in The Pledge of Allegiance.

Rory is dominating this field, and there is no denying that. However, I'm shocked at the amount of balls that are spinning back to the hole on these greens. Not just Rory, but everybody is spinning long irons back towards the hole. Normal US Open have balls running through the green, not spinning to the hole. I watched Kuchar stop a 240 yard 3 wood on the green after about 10 feet of roll.

I really am having a hard time calling this a US Open. There is no pain, no second guessing, and no big bounces, this is more like a Kemper Open instead. But Rory is putting on a great show.
Speaking of Kuchar, when did his swing get that flat? I thought he was going to play a slapshot off the first tee today.

A little over a year and a half ago, he started playing well again with that new swing. I don't know how long ago he made the change.
