Just stay the Hell away from those juggernaut Mountain West teams-I think the final tally for 2008 was MW-6 wins, Pac Little 9-1 win...

Just stay away from the sorry PAC-10 conference and the SEC's reord would be a lot better.

Nope. To be the PAC 10 Champions, Utah would have to beat all the teams in the conference but one.

Oregon State qualifies (if they beat Oregon) by virtue of having beaten USC.

Utah never beat USC, and I don't believe they would.

Well, ok then. At least they can say they beat the best team in the conference then.

If OSU wins tomorrow, UT will be able to say they beat the PAC-10 conference champ or co-champ, not necessarily the beat team.

Well, they would have beaten the beat team, but not the best team.

We only scored 50 something on the SEC West leaders at home.

I love when Pac 10 fans always point to this game. They leave out the fact that Arkansas played with a 3rd string QB, and they forget that the next week, Arkansas was a missed FG away from losing to Vanderbilt. It wasn't until mid-season that Arkansas started hitting their stride. The hog team USC beat was very, very different from the hog team that won the West.

If those two teams that were co-champs played head to head, then we would be able to tell which one was better. Too bad they don't. Oh wait.

Yea it wasn't like USC was playing our best ball the first game of the season either.

Anyway Arkansas had all the motivation in the world after getting humilated on national TV the year prior to USC, USC replaced a ton of starters, and still went into Fayetteville and whooped that arse.

It is actually others posting lies about the PAC-10's 10-7 advantage over the SEC this decade. They say it is only our upper tier teams beating up th elower tier teams in the SEC. Hell even some dipshit yesterday forgot who, claimed that last years SEC East champion was only about the 5th best team in the SEC. No basis for that.

It's totally true. UT was last years 4th or 5th best SEC team just like the Ark team that USC played was only the 3rd or 4th best team in the SEC that year too.

Oh yeah, for the USC fans that will argue with that: Even if OSU wins the PAC 10 no one believes they are best team in the P10, it is USC. Just cuz you won the conference doesn't mean you were the best team.
