Lebron is my 2nd or 3rd favorite player in the league

keep throwing out is that Durant is a better shooter than Lebron from distance

because in the playoffs the easy fast break points aren't gonna be there when the game is on the line. the refs dont call as many fouls in the paint.

when lebron couldn't get in the paint against the mavericks he wasn't the same player. durant makes shots with guys all over him that couldn't be defended any better. that is a crucial skill in the playoffs

Not a chance in hell.

LeBron might be having the best season in the history of basketball.

Only 3/4 on jumpers though; not enough to be considered skilled like Durant

There is no fricking debate.

There really is no debate. Anyone arguing otherwise isn't worth arguing with.

LeBron will cool off (which he has gradually done).

He is not having the best season ever - not by a long shot.

So how about your explain to me how I am bad at analyzing basketball Mr. Internet Expert.

Jesus Christ now your on to playoff arguments when we are talking about who's having the better regular season? And I didn't see Durant in the Finals last year, I guess his skills don't carry over as well as Lebrons

28 PPG, 7 APG, 8.5 RPG. 2 NBA Finals. The playoff bullshite needs to stop being used. He has been dominant in the playoffs. Averaged 35 points in 08-09. He will finish his career with 3+ rings and then Lebron haters will have nothing to criticize him for.

Wilt's first 4 years in the NBA would like a word with you. Actually, his 61-62 seasons just wants you to stop talking about basketball forever.

How did he do in those Finals?

You mean like how he was suppose to win one last year? What's the excuse for that? I'm sure it was Wade or Bosh's fault right?

First year with the Heat. Dallas' core has been together forever. Hard to blame the Heat for losing. Most talent =/= best team. This year they are the best team.

ETA Funny how you skipped over his stats.

Lebron has played triple the playoff games Durant has. Don't use the playoffs as an argument because it just highlights your lack of basketball knowledge.

Durant is a better scorer than LBJ just because he's got a more pure shot, but LBJ destroys him in assist and shoots a better percentage. LBJ is also WAY better on the defensive end and is a WAY better rebounder so yes Durant>LBJ at scoring but not by much.

He's pathetic and makes this way too obvious. He needs to go post on all those other websites he claims to be apart of, since they were so much better than this one.

I'm sorry I didn't know regular season game winners made a player better than another one that has clearly better stats and is a way better defender.

Better shooter =/= better scorer, I would say they are equal as scorers

With about 15 seconds left in the 4th quarter and the Thunder down 2 Sunday against the Heat, Kevin Durant missed a 7-foot jumper that would have tied the game. This is nothing new for Durant, who has missed 26 of 33 potential game-tying or go-ahead field goal attempts in the final 24 seconds of the 4th quarter or overtime over the past 3 seasons. Not only are those 26 misses the most by any player in this situation in that span, but among the 10 NBA players who have at least 20 such FGA over the past 3 years, Durant also has the third-lowest FG pct at 21.2. Keep in mind that the league average FG pct in this situation is 30.7%. [+]

A year old, but I doubt his stats this year have too significant an impact to alter it that much.
