Using a picture to determine what is or isn’t a catch instead of a video to determine the quantity of time each person possessed the ball is a little ridiculous.

It’s not a part of the rule book and catches are ruled instantaneously all the time if subjectively “not going to ground”

I honestly don’t care either way, but there needs to be consistency. Either both receivers caught it or neither did.

The plays werent the same.
One guy catches a ball, gets tackled, loses ball
The other guy jumps to make a catch and then lands falling to the ground and doesn't maintain control of the ball after landing.

I agree with this, but still not a huge fan of the Adams ruling. I’d lean towards ruling in favor of the defense there. You gotta hold onto the ball better
Cooks play he just gives it up in the process of the catch. It’s not even clear to me that he holds onto that football without a defender pulling it away. Hard to believe the whiney two hand touch football fans complaining that the Cooks play should be a 1st down for the offense
