Thinking of going to the Tulane vs Army game. Any hints on parking?
Parking is actually pretty tough. All the surrounding streets near Claiborne require residential tags on game day and/or are blocked off. You may have better luck parking closer to st Charles and walking. I’d recommend ubering.

I live outside of New Orleans.
I think I can get in a parking deck for about $45. It is 1/2 mile away.
That might be the best option other than leaving my car in a neighborhood and walking a long distance.

I mean parking closer to Loyola or Audubon park is probably your best bet and is equidistant to wherever the parking deck is. When I was talking about the residential streets being blocked off, I was talking about Audubon, versailles, Calhoun, etc in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

Just park on the other side of Fountainbleau and walk up Versaille or Audubon (but not Calhoun.) An easy walk through a lovely neighborhood.

Parking for $45 and walking half mile, vs parking a 1/4 to 1/2 mile away and ubering for like $25? Not sure what the Uber rates are around game time.

I think it's ten dollars at St. Rita and they shuttle you to the stadium.

That’s a nice deal if you don’t have to wait 30 minutes for the shuttle.

Also, the walk from St. Rita's is easy and safe through a nice neighborhood. (I grew up there and walked to the old Tulane Stadium for Saints and Tulane games all the time.)

Not certain, but there's always at least one sitting there waiting if not two.
