in any event, 2016 is not turning out too well for ltu-r and its fans:
1. First, the public embarrassment of having the decline of their academics exposed, by being downgraded from a R2 Carneigie classification, to R3. (BTW, R3 is same level as their twin brother, ULM, right down the road from them.) Of course, UL maintained its R2 classification.
2. Then having their financial rating lowered...this time to below ULM's
Moody's.
3. Then having its shady accounting Athletic budgeting practices exposed:

I think its hilarious when the USL fans started chiming in on other state schools. USL has such little man syndrome it is ridiculous. Besides LSU and Tulane, La. Tech would be the next best D1 school.
