CS got a player pregnant?
No, he had a widely publicized affair. You didn't hear? I was speaking to the original poster who said
quote:
he had this polished, prepared public appearance...but broke the very values he preached.
Strong didn't knock up the woman he had an affair with, but clearly his family values didn't align with his actions.

Here's two Kim Mulkey pics. One taken while she was actively coaching, the other was taken shortly after she realized Britney Griner was leaving school...

Except better academics. Or having a better all-around athletic program, that is far better supported by its fan base. Or financial status. Or being located in a far better town/community.
Not to mention the better looking students.
But yeah, you have a clear and unbiased grasp of the two schools.

Louisiana Tech, along with Tulane University and Louisiana State University, were the only institutions in the state to achieve a Tier One National Universities designation.

says the guy who brings all this shite up in a thread about a women's BB coach and keeps calling Tech ltu-r without a shred of irony or self awareness.

Yeah, a press release from a school is a good thing to hang your hat on as factual, impartial information. lol.
The facts are there aren't any public universities* in the country that are T1, and R3. Since Carneige classifications are only done every five years, and they were just lowered this January, that T1 status is a sure goner come this sept.
And the Carneigie classification is a much better indicator of academic standing, as it's based on emperical data only....as opposed to the subjective nature of the USNWR's rating system.
*there is one public school in the suny system, but it is very small, has only one focus and has a HUGE endowment, so functions more like a private school, than a public one.

And since this thread is about ltu-r and current events going on there everything I have posted about in this thread is pertinent.

I like to side with my fellow Cajun fans, but this thread is about a young coach putting it to a hot arse player, probably in the coach bus while the rest of the team is eating inside Waffle House.
But nah, everything you and the other guy are going on about has nothing to do with this thread.

Carnegie is a grouping based on of how much research a school does.
Doesn't even measure how the research is funded (which is an important measure).

I agree that this is getting OT, so this wil be my last comment on the subject here.
How much research a school does is one of the most important indicators of its academic standing. The more research that a school does the better faculty it will attract. The better faculty hired, the higher quality students you draw. Drawing better students mean you can charge and charge more money.....which means you will get more research even better faculty, and so on.
