Man Delgado got KTFO!!!

I'm pissed that the Paul's lost. They're my favorite England fighters. I can't believe both of them fricking lost.

From Dana White

quote:

He's in rough shape, he's in really bad shape. He is not well and he is not getting any better.... He's very, very sick and he's going to be out for a while. He's got a lot of problems. He's got mono and he's got something else wrong with him. I know what's wrong with him, he just doesn't want me talking about it. He doesn't have cancer or AIDS or anything like this, (but) he's got some problems, man. He dropped up there and had to go to hospital.... He's not going to be getting well any time soon."

I wonder what this guy has.

I didn't get to see it so I wouldn't know.

BTW how is this Dan Hardy and GSP fight going to turn out? I though Hardy would have lost to Davis and Swick, but it seems he has dominated both of these fights.

he doesn't look like he has the physical stature of an alves or fitch?

GSP will destroy Hardy. As Rogan said during the fight, maybe it would just be better to lose than to have to fight GSP.

Anyone thinking GSP is gonna stand with Hardy for 1 second and risk getting hit when he can destroy him on the ground is crazy. I didn't watch the fights, did Dana come in afterwards and announce he was fighting GSP next? I saw after the Vera fight that Rogan and Goldie were saying it as a certainty even though before the fight it was a "maybe." I love how the Brits fight top contenders in "possible" no. 1 contender bouts and if they lose (Bisping-Hendo) the American doesn't get a title shot but if they win they get a title shot to pump up the next British fight card.

No, but it was pretty much the same thing. GSP came in the ring and said Hardy deserved a chance against him. They didn't do the Rashad - Rampage thing though.

also, the Randy decision was horrible as was the ref for that fight. Fighting against Couture is like playing at Alabama as for as being treated fairly. He can be getting nailed for 30 seconds straight and not defending himself and it will not be stopped, he can hump you on the ground in full guard and never get stood up and he can hump you against the cage and not even work to inflict damage knowing he will only get seperated once every 4 minutes. Having UFC paid judges in England only makes it worse.

Just watched these fights. For lacking the "big name" power this card had some entertaining fights.

- Delgado got fricking rocked. That was good KO. I wonder if Winner has improved his ground game at all though

- The Gustaffson KO was awesome as well. What's the story on this guy? Is he a future prosepect or what? I've never heard of him.

- Ross Pearson's boxing looked real sharp. Good to see him win. Real likeable guy.

- Matt Brown keeps winning. I thought Wilks was going to be able to pull that kimora out for the win. Looked like he gave up after that.

- That was one of the loudest arenas I've heard whn Bisping was fighting. Looks like Kang gassed bad towards the end. Hard to keep up with Bisping's pace and he can run you into the ground.

- Hardy surprised the hell out of me with that win. He beat Swick up. Plain and simple. I don't know why when he hurt Swick a few times he would go for the takedown. Seems like if he would have gone for the finish he would have gotten it. Maybe he was weary of Swick's KO power in that situation. Who knows. He gets taken down early and often against GSP though. I think GSP subs him in the 1st round.

- God that Couture fight was boring as hell. That ref needed to break them apart a lot more frequently than he did. Vera should have been sticking and moving like a mother fricker. He was standing in front of Couture way too much IMO.
