Reyes needs to hit the treadmill and he'd be a champion

Why do those takedowns actually count? They did absolutely nothing. I'll never understand why those count

Zero chance they were gonna ruin one of the UFCs goldenboys on a split decision

What did I just watch? Reyes clearly won first 3 rounds. People talking about takedowns that didn’t do shite.

Jones wanted no part of rematch talk.

He knows he if Reyes gets better cardio, he'd be in real trouble.

Jones struggles with with strikers who have some length. Reyes will absolutely cause Jones problems. I still think Jones wins but it’ll be close IMO. The gap is starting to close between Jones and these younger LHWs

Which one of y’all wanna apologize for down voting this post?? Lol

I said something similar in March of last year on here and got 0 upvotes and 10 downvotes

I don’t even think Jones is an amazing fighter. He’s got so much length that he can keep a lot of distance and just keep throwing teep-style kicks to maintain distance.

And he is a good wrestler so his opponents are always worried of the takedown.

If he fights a good fighter who is tall and he doesn’t have that massive reach advantage, he will look a lot more beatable. His skills aren’t amazing in my opinion.

He's a good fighter, but he looks way better than he actually is because he's good at using his massive reach advantage to keep the distance. Particularly with his kicks.

Dominick Cruz was ok. But Rogan was insufferable tonight. "Reyes is getting tired" , every 10 seconds.

Bc wrestling is part of the sport

It would be a good rule change to only make them count if you keep control with it

I never want to hear mma fans bitch about boxing judges ever again...49-46 is a fricking joke

during the prelims, Rogan called out one of the judges for not even watching the fight. he went on about it for at least two full minutes of pointing out that the judge wasn't even looking at the fight.

how is that possible and why is it allowed?

Takedowns should never count as a knockdown. It's a tackle, a knockdown is from getting lit up

I thought jones won 2. 4 and 5. Will be interesting to see the judges cards. The judge that did 4-1 should never judge a match again

Regardless, to be the champ you gotta beat the champ. Reyes didn’t beat the champ.

411mania and Sherdog both scored it 48-47 Jones. I thought it could go either way.

Those are a minute part of the scoring system. If he secures position and uses it to inflict damage then he gets that credit. What happened in the 3rd was laughable.

You don’t erase eating power shots all rd by desperate getting a trip before the guy gets up in less than 10 secs

Reyes more strikes landed by far the 1st 3 rounds. Anyone who can read graphs can see this.

Admiditly I don't know all the rules of ufc, but Jones never gained control on any of those takedowns, so I didn't score them as worth much of anything.
