Props to everyone but chimaev. This is why I love mma. Literally the whole shite was blown up but 6 of 6 motherfrickers stepped up to put on a show for the fans and simehow the card got better. Lets go i feel this card is gonna be good.

I loved Khamzat and hated Costa like most fans before this week. Both have completely went the complete opposite direction in most fans eyes, like myself.
I really wanted the Khamzat hype train to keep rolling and was interested how he would do with someone like Usman or Adesanya in either class. But the pairing with Nate was ridiculous. Dana really wanted Nate to get embarrassed. Now I’m pulling hard for Kevin Holland because I love that guy and it’s great seeing him get some more exposure. He will be everyone’s hero in the streets and in the octagon.
I still think Khamzat wins and if he does, I hope Costa gets to test Chimaev’s chin next.
But something seems very off with Chimaev from his usual crazy man antics and I don’t thinks it’s the weight cut effects. Seems like confidence issues or something until the weigh in with Holland. Maybe being hated motivates him more than being loved does.
No way would I bet on either Co-Main event fights.

Li is the real badass in this situation. He agreed to fight Rodriguez who weighs 9 lbs more than him after losing the opportunity to fight a legend in Ferguson from the fallout of Khamzat’s unprofessionalism.

After watching Li in the embedded series, I’m pulling for the guy, seems like a genuinely good guy.
I think we got the best outcome with all of this, Ferguson vs. Diaz should be fun. I’m also ready to watch Khamzat vs Holland. I’m not sure how the conditioning will be but Holland can throw some bombs. I think Khamzat is just going to take it to the ground honestly.
The card improved after the backstage bullshite.

Cumshot Chimaev had an easy fight in front of him with washed up Diaz and blew it 
he talked all that shite and still missed weight by nearly 8lbs ... so pathetic.

Dana should never let Khamzat fight at 170 ever again.
Put him at 185 with Costa and Stylebender, etc. Welterweight doesnt need him anyway, that division is already loaded with Colby, Usman, Leon, Masvidal, Gilbert, etc.

6 fighters agreed to fight a completely different fighter on a days notice. All badasses. Cant blame nate for not taking the fight, khamzat disrespected him. Nate is the one that showed up in weight. I like the nate vs tony fight better but only thing that sucks is I am a big fan of both dudes. I hope they give us a legendary fight that ends up in a draw.

Khamzat screwed up but in a way, he saved both Diaz and Ferguson from ugly endings.
I’m not sure if it’s scripted or not, but going forward Chimaev will be the #1 villain and people will tune in for that.

Zero chance this is what happened. No doctor is checking up on him at 4am, but if they did tell him to stop cutting he wouldn’t be fighting. He also would’ve been hydrated and well over 178 pounds.
