Did anyone see the bully beatdown with Jake Shields?

Was I the only one underwelmed by his performance?

He only subbed a roller bladere three times, got put in a sub once himself, and the stand up was kind of close for a while.

See it, I had to use google to find out what the hell you were talking about.

I haven't watched anything on MTV in many, many years.

i actually saw a thread saying how shitty he did before i saw the fight so i was actually not as underwhelmed as i might have been if i had not seen that sherdog thread. he was toying with the guy on the feet and doing whatever he wanted there really and we all know he sucks dick at standup anyway. And he did sub the guy in the first 20 seconds of the fight, the only frickup was when he missed that armbar and kind of got slammed off.

I just read a Mayhem interview where he says the next bully knows MMA and it "changes the series" and people have to watch. Its either going to be a pro looking like shite or Mayhem talking about himself stepping in as the fighter cause i know he pretty much said he was going to do that towards the end of the season.

I thought the first bully of the season did the best by far. He would've put up a fight with any gas. I dont know why they started the season with that weak performance.

Me either. I was hoping Cash or Max would warn me this was about to come on. I'm going to see if they have it on demand for the MTV channel on there yet.

It has a little too much Mayhem Miller yelling and jumping around for me. I saw the one with Michael Westbrook. Didn't know that he was a badass.

Mir brought in Maia and Robert Drysdale and a bunch of other badasses to help him coach during his TUF season. He said he knows people are better than him and he wants to learn from them too.

I saw Maia training Rua on mmascraps this morning. Does he usually train with chute?

I think Maia usually trains with Wanderlei in Vegas. I think he was in Maia's corner for a few fights too.

Yes he was. Along with Shogun, Ninja, Anderson Silva, Pele, and several others.

Back in the day, Chute Boxe hated BTT and vice versa.

BTT was Big and Lig Nog, Arona, Belfort, and others.

Chute Boxe originally grew out of a Thai Boxing focus, and BTT grew out of a bjj focus.

Well both of those teams are a shadow of their former self. The top guys have pretty much all left and formed their own teams. Now several old CB and BTT guys train together like Anderson Silva/Big Nog.

Forgive me...what's BTT?

What about the other Brazilians: Machida, Filho, Dos Santos, Cain, and Thiago Silva?

BTT= Brazilian Top Team

Machida wasn't part of either but now trains with Anderson Silva and Big Nog.

Filho was BTT I belive.

Dos Santos is now with Big Nog but I'm not sure if he used to be with BTT or not

Cain- not sure

Thiago Silva is now with Chute Boxe.
