ULM is not moving down

I thought it was a big stretch to move from D-1A to D-III. Moving to D-1AA maybe okay. But like someone else said already, I think they make too much many playing BCS schools to go down to a lower level, which would be fewer BCS schools would be willing to play them.

The Southland is FCS.

FIFY.

UNO actually has a club level football team. Which, could actually evolve into an official school-sponsored team.

They may have no choice. The only way they reach attendance minimum now is to get Ark to agree to let ULM count their game as a "home" game. If that game goes away.....

ULM is on the chopping block for Arky, Auburn and LSU this year. My guess is that they are trying to make bank before all hell breaks loose in Monroe, when/if the announce a drop.

NLU / UL Monroe has been talking about it b/c of finances.

The 3rd largest phone company, CenturyLink, is 5 miles down the road. Only At&t and Verizon are bigger, so why isnt CenturyLink helping out?

USL and ULM should go down to 1-aa. They would be national powers and most likely have better attendance since Nicholls, McNeese, SLU, NLS, and each other would be better games that more would care about.

La Tech should go DIII and play in the conference with Johns Hopkins, Chicago, Emory, and play MIT. It would improve their perception and image.
