Sorry Gumps...the Urban era continues. It is obvious from this letter that Urban is going nowhere. Either he, or Kirby, or Dabo will ruin your season this year....its not gonna be as easy or miraculous as Urban getting fired....even though my Bama friends have been celebrating and salivating all week, it is not going to happen.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I don't think he should be fired, but seriously lying so emphatically to the media makes me wonder how he thought he could get away with it. Prepared or not for the question...just say you aren't going to discuss that issue at that time.

So...at the very least, the AD should be let go. Apparently Urban has now changed his story to say that he did inform his boss (OSU AD), who invited what was going on for 2 years and allowed a serial domestic abuser cont to coach OSU.

Yes, totally can understand that...so why was the guy allowed to stay on staff for 2 more years? The AD is the one ultimately responsible. Meyer is scumbag for allowing a known wife beater to cont to coach, but as long as he reported it to his boss, that is probably going to be the fall guy
