They have the cause to fire him. Question is, do the settle on a buyout or do they want to battle him in court over the full amount? He isn’t getting $38mil lol

Here's what I don't understand both Meyer and Gene Smith knew of the 2015 abuse and spoke to Zach Smith for his side, but no one from OSU ever contacted Courtney Smith and got her version? I know Ohio State isnt the Powell Police, but they have to at least speak with the wife, it's like they too Zazh Smith's version and closed the case.

The other issue is that OSU kept Zach Smith on staff even after the May 2018 arrest...on top of the 2009 and 2015 spousal abuse.

Well you see, Zach smith was the nephew of the most important man in urbans life that wasn’t his real father. This is explains his actions & is consistently overlooked as the main motive of Urban covering this up.

His lawyers would love Ohio State if they tried to fire Urban for what he said to the media.

WHAT IS THIS CAUSE?! If it’s proven he reported it per Title IX and contractual protocol, then no cause exists! Tired of arguing with idiots on this board.

Moral and legal are two separate things my baw, not totally mutually exclusive but people’s morals may differ in ways to drastically the law applies the same across the board generally

Again.... you saying this and defending Meyer in any way shows you think it’s ok that he covered up a guy abusing his wife... plain and simple......

Repeating your stupidity doesn't make it correct. Say it as many times as you want. Not calling for Urban to be fired doesn't equate to supporting domestic violence.

Knew you’d raise that, Mr. Wannabe Lawyer, all he did was lie to the media and apologized afterwards that’s not good enough to forfeit someone $38 million in any context without risking a lawsuit that’ll give Meyer recovery in some form or fashion if not substantive he’ll obviously contest something so inane by arguing the Bill Clinton defense “meaning of ‘is’ is” and then offer his interpretation of his Media Day utterances ie context you’re way out of your league, fool

He did way more than lie to the media.... he kept a know wife beater on his staff for three years after he knew about it...... I don’t care that he lied to the media..... that’s the least of his issues here.... like I have said.... you just don’t get it.....

Correct, does lying to the media really reflect that badly on OSU to forfeit someone $38 million? Lying to the media from coaches occur on a daily basis, Zach Smith’s existence reflects bad on OSU not Urban lying to the media. What bushleague these double-drags trying to pull lmao.

Coaches aren’t supposed to be law enforcement, if he ran it up the ladder as required by Title IX and they didn’t proceed further then what wrong did he do? Maybe he likes to give subordinates the benefit of the doubt or afford them due process before rushing to judgment about stuff NO ONE KNEW ABOUT THIS UNTIL A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO never was an issue from a wide perspective.

Let me ask you this.... YOU are a HC .... would you let a known wife beater stay on your staff for three years after finding out what he had done???? I don’t care what OSU does... it was Meyers call to get rid of him and he chose not to... fact.....
