i think he'll play more than Boozer. This team is a little different in the front court.

No Howard or Bosh. Durant gives them a little more flexibility with his length, but i think Griffin will play a little more than Boozer did.

He will be one of the 4 guys on the end of hte bench though, with Westbrook, Iggy and Harden.

Guess Eric Gordon wasn't olympic 'caliber'

Thought you Hornet fans wanted to max contract EG and were saying he is the best player ever?

I think he will have about as much of an impact on the team as Boozer did in Beijing.

Both Beijing and Istanbul used 9-man rotations for the most part.

Boozer, Redd, and Prince sat in Beijing. Granger, Love, and Chandler sat in Istanbul.

This time around, I bet it will be Harden, Griffin, and Iguodala.

How do you think the pg situation will play out?

I still think Kenneth Faried would have made a nice addition to the team.

Griffen does get a lot of hate. Dude is a great player and shows cause he made the team. Only 2nd real season too. Scary

Coach K told LeBron and Melo to get ready to play some center. They are good with that. I would have loved to see Davis on the team, just for his length and shotblocking/rebounding, but he was hobbled by an ankle sprain.

In filling the final roster spots, Coach K said he was looking for players who could play multiple positions. The international game is different; it seems the traditional big man doesn't necessarily fare as well. What we give up in height, I think we'll more than get back in using athleticism to play good perimeter defense and come up with steals, leading to transition baskets. It seemed in 2008, we were constantly getting in the passing lanes and stealing the ball.

Like in 2008, I think this lineup will excel at defense, creating turnovers, spacing the floor, getting penetration and knocking down perimeter shots.

It will be interesting to see how Griffin performs. Although he runs the floor well, he's not known for consistent mid-range shooting. Also, I kind of thought they'd carry Davis and take only one of Iguodala and Harden, not both.
