He’s the second banana to Davis, who dominated in their championship season and postseason.
The problem is he incredibly famous. So his very proud fanbois refuse to acknowledge this.
Davis on the other hand is a meek personality, but he’s so damn good on both sides of the court that the Lakers didn’t invest in another big of his caliber. Of course, they were embarrassed without him.
Russ is mostly a stat hunter, and the Laker fan base is going to overhype Monk all year.
3rd or 4th seed most likely.

worse perimeter defense in the league. At least they brought Dwight back to help out on the Inside. Literally No chance they can beat healthy BKN.
