he dropped out of high school and got a GED. He should realize he will be doing manual labor for a while longer I didn't finish college so I don't want to contradict myself too much though. I'm also not above manual labor like this guy thinks he is

Ended up winning the scramble at work with a -10. Hit the ball really well except for a couple of holes and two bad chips. Used my shot a little more than I expected us to but all in all everyone contributed on our team.

Perhaps with his GED, he isn't able to properly articulate his meaning behind he's "tired of working hard".
Likely just wants to work somewhere that his work can be more efficient to the company's overall success and not a necessary burden to the bottom line.

I did enough manual labor in the Marines. They had us scrubbing baseboards like nobody's bidness.

46-37 83. 37 ties best 9 score. 7 pars. 2 bogeys.
Also played a second ball on the back for a 38. Three birdies including back-to-back on 10 and 11 Best ball between my two balls on the back was a -1 at 34.
Driver turned into a bomb dropper on the back and the irons became dart throwers. I also moved the ball up in my putting stance and it's rolling a ton better.
I'm telling y'all. I'm right on the edge. Rangefinder saved me some shots too. I've learned I've gained about 5 yards on my irons.
ETA: I posted my 83 and my 38 9-hole score. I went from a 11.3 to a 10.3 on trending.
