Wasn't a screw job, refs sucked all night for both teams.
PBS>CHS
Baton Rouge belongs to Parkview Baptist

There were questionable calls for both sides but I wouldn't say it was anywhere near MNF bad.. That's just CHS parents/alumni bitching because they lost. It was a great back and forth game with 2 well coached teams. Glad PBS got the win. Wish I could've played against Catholic when I was at Parkview and beat the living shite out of them. There wouldn't have been a blame the refs game for sure

did Matt Mascona graduate from CHS?

He's a pretty calm guy and was pretty agitated.

I don't get the hatred these 2 teams have towards each other. Seem like similar schools

That game deserved much better officiating.....

PI against PBS was one of the worst I have seen at a HS game in a long time...

and C got away with a huge PF very early...

Proud of PBS for pulling out the win! Class of 02 right here! Lot of butthurt Catholic fans up in here. Game was at Olympia right? Seems like if anybody should have had refs in back pocket it should have been Bears. Anyways both teams have good squads this year, I pull for all BR teams in playoffs.

Neutral stadium.

ETA: I wish Catholic would build a stadium on the Moreland property they just bought a year ago or so.

Yeah I'll give ya that but Parkview was basically a new school then. But in the last 10 years PBS would smash them

I think it would have been pretty competitive when I was there (2003-2007).

Then again we completely blew the semi-finals to Acadiana in 2007 while being the better team

They really needed parking

And for all the Parkview shittalkers in here, they would have been dominated by and Catholic team up until 2 years ago. Stop trying to act like you've been dominating us for years

I know. I live right by there. It would be cool if they had an on campus stadium.

And this has been my point. They act like CHS has been garbage.

We (CHS) would have beat y'all by about 3 TDs if it was from 2003-2008. But live in your dream world. The 06-07 team had 3 guys that made NFL camps.

alot of old catholic grumps in here still mad because they could never get that prized state ring in football, while schools not as old as theirs in BR have gotten them (PBS,redempt, dunham)

Well until last year we had never played yall.. That pretty much goes in every sport too. Parkview always wants to play tough teams before district comes around. Catholic was good in the 80s-90s but they aren't a power house anymore.

PBS has 3 state titles (I know we're only 3A blah blah blah) and the dominating Catholic Bears.... Well I don't think they have one, but I wasn't around in the 60's
