I like it for Washington. But Barnes is really going lately. If he goes off it will be hard to beat UNC.
I think it will be a close game. If I had to pick, I'd pick Carolina at this point.
Don't forget that Georgia is not far at all from Charlotte either, and all the Carolina fans will be rooting for Georgia over UW. Washington will have to win two games in tough environments to get to the Sweet 16.

I wouldn't say Washington matches up perfectly with UNC, but if Washington had a choice of which style of ball to play against, UNC's style would be the pick. Man-to-man defense and fast paced.

They're 27-1 in state against a team playing across the country

They should not have been in the ACC Tournament Championship..
And like I said in the previous post, a 2/3 Zone will kill UNC

Has Washington played much 2-3 this year?
Just wondering, but you don't just say "we're gonna play a 2-3" and have it be effective. 2-3 zone is something you have to work at and play over and over in practice and in games to play it effectively. Trust me.

They are in the bracket to do it, but a lot of obstacles. I think the KState game can go either way, they can beat Wisconsin, but Pitt will be tough.
I'm probably going to take Michigan St. way too far in this bracket.

They use both...especially with the 7 footer in the inside and the long guys on the outside

You have to figure that UNC is well aware that they struggled against the zone and anticipates seeing it in the tournament. I imagine they'll practice against it a good bit this week.
