Yea because he was way better than the guys he faced

No, its because he has great technique and is a great athlete as well. His leaping ability and catching ability is off the charts

And no I dont thing hell be an amazing rookie corner and im not being a complete homer, I just think youre completely underselling his athletic ability because hes not PP.

I didn't mean it as a knock against him, part of the reason he doesn't make as many incredible plays is because he doesn't get beat nearly as often and forced to recover, so he's not in position to run a dude down and make outstanding plays. He can ball, I'm well aware

i think he'll have a better season than another great Dallas #24, Everson Walls, did as a rookie (and his was a record-setting season for a rookie); i hope he doesn't end the season like Walls did, though

1981 Walls had 11 interceptions as a rookie, BUT look at the players he had around him. Randy White, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Harvey Martin, etc. DeMarcus Ware is the only great player on Dallas' defense today.

Sean Lee? Brandon Carr?

The defense has talent, nowhere near the 70's and 80's but those defenses were special. The Cowboys have one glaring weakness on their defense and that is the Safeties. Other than that, I'm expecting a top 10-12 ranked defense in the NFL next year.

BEST..CORNERBACK..EVER.

Seriously, he'll make some mistakes, he'll make some plays. Dallas needed corner help, and he was by far the best available. I just hope he is a solid corner for several years like Newman was (imo).

Ya Dallas's D should actually be pretty good next year, were not talking top D but somewhere in the 5-10 range which is all they need.

Honestly, I think he makes the pro bowl... I honestly think he is Pro ready... More so than Peterson was... Peterson is a freak athlete who relied on his athletism tooooo much and Claiborne is technically sound.

You know, at least I think.
