The Two Escobars
The Best There Never Was
Once Brothers
June 17, 1994
Without Bias
Small Potatoes (USFL)
Pony Excess
16th Man (although the release of Invictus took away its thunder)
And the one on Tim Richmond was interesting for me since I knew nothing about him.

The Worst
Marion Jones
One Night in Vegas
Straight out of LA

Those three were awful. The stupid poetry slams ruined one night in Vegas, but are you really expecting greatness from the director of a Tim Allen-Martin Lawerence buddy comedy?

The U was entertaining, but the last 5 minutes were atrocious. The director blamed Butch Davis for the demise of the Hurricanes....what?

This seems to be the most popular 30/30. Is there away to check it out online?

In summation, I thought that out of the 30, there were about 8 or so great ones, 16 or so good ones/enteraining/worth the watch, about 4 or so that weren't interesting to me, and 2 that weren't very good.

I've seen all of them and I think I've mentioned my faves a couple times on here. I will say that the one I didn't think I'd like but liked after seeing it was the Chris Evert & Martina Navratilova one.

My top 3:

1. Pony Excess
2. The Two Escobars
3. The U

The Best that Never Was and June 17, 1994 (because I was 4 at the time the events actually happened) were also very good imo.

The Best That Never Was

For honorable mention...how about the one of the Baltimore Colts marching band. Very underrated, IMO.

Once Brothers
2 Escobars
The USFL One.

I was very disappointed in the one about the U. Just thought it could have been a lot better.

I am sure there are only so many stories they can do a 30 for 30 on, but I would like to see a similar documentation done on specific years. For example, like the year of 1995 (just pulling a year out of my head) and touch on all the big sports stories during that year.

They could start with 1980 and do it in seasons of 5. One season being 1980 - 1985 and so on.

I know the Fab 5 one wasn't a 30 for 30 but wasn't it from the same Producers or something?

That one was pretty good too

The one thing that I thought was funny about this one was when they asked him if there was anything they can do or get for him and he asked for a trailer for him mom. That was cool he was helping his mom and all, but if they were giving.. why not ask for a house..

Loved this one too and didn't expect to. I also really enjoyed how the OJ/Knicks NBA Finals one was put together.

Two Escobars is probably my favorite also.
