Ton of wins eh? You know the dude has only 2 winning seasons as a starting qb since high school?

Damn I missed where I said he had tons of winning seasons. Good catch!

ETA:

In the NFL he is 62-58 in 130 games started.

half of this board is either ignorant of that or deliberately ignores him. They make him sound like Ryan Leaf.

Yea just who I want leading my franchise, a guy barely above .500 with 130 starts under his belt.

ETA: and the dude is going to demand top notch money. Sounds like just awful decision all the way around. Just because he had fantasy value for you, doesn't mean he has real value as a true NFL QB, at least not top 10 value like ESPN wants to make him out to be IMO.

Can you remind me of what Cutler did the following week vs Green Bay? That is the famous "I'm going to sit on the sideline looking like a douche" game because he was "too hurt to play."

I'm not going to call the dude Ryan Leaf, but to call the guy a winner in any sense of the word is a joke. The guy has losing in his blood, just look at the numbers (2 winning seasons since high school).

with a career winning record.

I'm not saying he's elite, but he's much fricking better than Case Keenum, Geno Smith, and Ryan Lindley.

He won't get crazy money this time around. It just won't happen. So get that out of your mind. There are several teams out there that just need an average QB with a great arm to transform from average to awesome.

So we've agreed on two things:

He has crazy amounts of experience in the NFL

and

Has a winning record as a starter

Do you realize how many quarterbacks don't have winning records in the NFL? He's a decent NFL QB with elite arm strength that wins more than he loses. Those are facts.

I would totally sign him for a discount after this shitty year if I was a team with a big need at QB with everything else looking good.

With the Bears GM and coach being fired does Cutler stay as a Bear or does go to the likes of Cleveland or Tampa Bay?

Would be tremendous entertainment to have him and Manziel in the same locker room.

tMost hateable team ever.
