Quite a few teams actually
A lot of teams started to play Newton much better than in the 2ND half of the season. I see another somewhat exciting year for him but not an overly productive one. Let's see them actually beat a team with a pulse before crowning them.

Panthers will be lucky to get the 3rd seed in the south. Bucs gotten better this offseason and Saints are pretty much dominating every year w/ Brees under helm. The falcons is still an average team but better than panthers right now

I can't take anyone who lists Captain Munnrlyn as an asset seriously. He's a huge liability, and will likely lose the battle for the #2 CB position.

the Panthers won't even go .500

flip this. The Falcons still have Mike Smith and Matt Ryan.

Remember when Josh Freeman was the Next Great Quarterback?

You conveniently left out the season they will do this.....no but really, bookmark this. The Carolina Panthers will play 16 games in 2012 season. Thats all.

Yeah seriously, it's not like Auburn fans are going around saying Trent Richardson is gonna suck just because he played for Bama.
I actually laughed when the Saints picked Ingram, because (and you may disagree) I never was greatly impressed and I thought they were picking him way too high.
Richardson? Kid is gonna rock the AFC North.

I think the Panthers win 9-10 games.
Don't know if that will get them in the playoffs.
With the Saints most assuredly taking a step back and the Falcons replacing a rancid offensive coordinator with another rancid offensive coordinator, the Panthers are just as much in play for the NFC South than the other teams.

they are SO FAR below the talent level of the Saints its not even funny. New Orleans will still likely win 11-12 games which should be enough to take the division. The NFL is about elite QB play and New Orleans is the only team in the NFCS with an elite QB

Cam Newton > Josh Freeman

definitely. but we all heard Freeman was the next big thing. I'll hold judgment after we see how he handles adjustments this season

He'll do fine. People said he'd be a TE in the NFL and he broke records at QB. I'm not sure how the Panthers will finish, but they'll be better for sure.
