Tulane knows what type of school it is and is not going to make anything difficult for coaches to leave for bigger programs. That is how they keep getting good coaches.

It’s called doing the right thing.
World needs a little more of that at the moment.
Everyone wins in this situation.
Florida a little less than Tulane, but everyone should be happy.
Tulane has found a way to successfully navigate the new world of the NIL, and has found a niche as a feeder/“minor league” school.
I hope there is a stat out there of playoff teams, and how much their coaching staffs and NIL deals are. Next year, when lsu is in the playoffs, it will have cost $40mil+ (nil $25mil, kiffin $12mil, baker $2mil, Weiss $1mil, etc). Tulane will be able to do it for 10% of that.

You get what you pay for though. They wouldn’t have a real chance like LSU would have though

So Mr.Tulane how does it feel that you let your coach that is saying frick you and going to Florida is staying for the playoff and our Defensive coach told you to frick off I am staying at LSU?. OOOF

Sounds like LSU needs to join the American conference and make the playoff every year for cheap

With this years team and Kelly at the helm, we would not have won the American.
