I'm sure PP knew Lyles - the guy was all over any big recruit he could get near. The allegation made was that Lyles was acting as an advisor to PP - that is a very different thing

Several people in this thread have mentioned that Auburn is the "10". It's possible, but I have a feeling that if someone had a bomb to drop on Auburn right now, they wouldn't wait months to release the story. Too many people have been digging around, and I don't think anyone would want to risk someone else getting the scoop.
My money's on Bama or Texas, with Auburn or LSU being the likeliest behind them.

I agree, they have been searching since it broke during the season. I doubt they would wait 2 more months to break something on Auburn.

This story is big, but not bigger than OSU, which was said to be a 7 or 8. The 10 is said to be an all-time top 15 college program. But those are just rumors.

The "10" doesn't necessarily have to be a more prestigious program than the "8". It could be that the story is more damning. IMO, the story on Oregon is much bigger than the story on OSU, unless there is a lot more to the OSU story.

I think the OSU story is bigger since it turns out Pryor had gotten so much money for memorabilia and autographs in his three years at OSU. It goes beyond the coach's mistakes.
