Side note, i had no idea Larry Fitzgerald was #2 all time and Jerry Rice was #1 by ~5,500 yards

Good pull.
I do think you have to allow for some inflation from around 2008 to present, as the passing rules became more lax and numbers have exploded.
Irvin was far more impactful than some contemporary receivers who have more total yardage.
