Because 99% of the players are there for the big payday. No other reason to play in the NFL. Do you really believe they all think they have a chance at the SB? They know when they are drafted that they might never see a winning season depending on the team and it doesnt matter. They get paid regardless.

If players cared about winning over money they would all pull an Eli and not play for the Browns, Jags, Rams, Niners, etc.

Winning and losing doesnt matter. You get paid regardless and its more money than they have ever seen so they dont care.
