Eh, for 2 months these people have basically been chanting one name and it's been his. Pahlavi has also said multiple times that he would only be a transitional leader. He would only be in place long enough to oversee a democratic transition in the country

It also seems a bit early for Trump to start publicly backing someone. As this operation goes along I won't be surprised if his tone changes.

Avichay Adraee stating, “The IDF warns representatives of the Iranian terror regime who are still in Lebanon to leave immediately before being targeted. The IDF warns that it will not tolerate any presence of representatives of the Iranian terror regime in Lebanon and will grant regime representatives currently in Lebanon 24 hours to leave the country.
