I know you're a big poker guy.
If I could just spare 2 minutes of your time to help out a struggling poker player, lol.

If not, no biggie.

gave it my best shot. my online poker bankroll management sucks as I try to go big like tonight I bought in for 55 end up in a 2-4 PLO game with 130 bucks run it up over 700 and get coolered and miss a bunch of hands and drop all the way back to even. at least i satellited into a 50k guarantee..

Ouch!! That's rough.
What site do you find has the best blind structures for tournies?
I haven't played a tourney in forever, but on Full Tilt, the smaller tournies have blinds escalating every 6 minutes. That just seems awfully fast and I don't know if it's even worth it.

i havent played on anything but sportsbook.com in awhile it has been pretty good for the most part it seems to me the players are a little easier or maybe im playing better now.. the blind scales are pretty normal they have 10 or 15 minutes i think and then they have the turbos - 6 mins and super turbos 3 mins.

LOL. satellited into a 50k gurantee? you can buy directly into the stars 50k gurantee for $55. you need to satelite into that?

dude is an absolute beast online and live. Will definately get signed by a site. and I agree with KC here. Will be full tilt. Pokerstars is weird with their site pros. seems like you have to be a foreigner.

if the 109 is the 50k gurantee, the traffic must be very slow on there?

theres definitely not as many people as the bigger sites, but it seems to be easier to win on there.

Depends on what you play at tilt. The $26 buyins plus are great structures for a person who want to play poker. The smaller ones, you are push folding in no time. They have also just implemented a synced break. All breaks for all tourneys begin at the :55 on the hour.
No matter what site you play, the same things must happen to win. You have to win some 40-60's during the tourney and you have to win about 5 races late in the tourney.

In event 25 down to 14 people Phil Ivey still in as well as Carlos Mortensen, Chad Brown, Dutch Boyd, Jon "Pearljammer" Turner, Blair Rodman and a guy that i final tabled with in Tunica - Matthew Kelly. Everyone all pretty close in chips.
Ville Wahlbeck retook the POTY lead with a 2nd in the Deuce to Seven event.
Ivey is also playing event 27 at the same time and doubled up on the last hand before the end of day 1 in that event.

do you have them mixed up? 27 is Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-low Split-8 or Better which Negreanu, Roland De Wolfe, Alex Kravchenko, Andrew Black, Jeff Lisandro.
25 is the Omaha/Seven Card Stud HL/8 or Better which Ivey is in.

Ivey is in 27 sitting on table 84 with 40,800
Posted on 6/13/09 at 3:08 pm to PokerChamp21
how in the hell is he in both tournaments?
Posted on 6/13/09 at 3:18 pm to Acreboy

Ivey 2nd in chips out of 5 remaining in the Omaha/7 card Stud.
He's over at the PLO event during dinner break rising in chips at around 100K in chips in about 20 minutes.

That is sick that he walks over on dinner break and moves from 20kish to about 100k.. wow..
He will probably make the money not even playing in the PLO event while at the final table in the Hi-lo Split event.
