Guess the 10 on the river was really a J?
No Doeble Up for Doebler
Yikes, a nasty cooler has sent an extremely unhappy Steven Doebler to the rail.
All in preflop.
Doebler: AhQd
Nasr El Nasr: Ad10d
Board: Kh-10s-4h-Qs-10c to make El Nasr a straight. Ouch.

well only way it would have straighted, Unless the board was messed up and he straighted to the K with a 9 and even then they needed a J on the board.
Hachem also just hit a million and Eastgate is just under at 890k.

The Magician is now up to approximately 1,200,000 in chips.

Tran Fades Spades, Overcards
We pick up three-way action on a flop showing 10s-6h-2s , and Nasr El Nasr was first to act from the blinds. He checked, and J.C. Tran made a bet of 30,000. Alper Sar called, and El Nasr moved all in with a big covering stack. With 331,000 chips left, Tran made the call for his tournament life, and Sar quickly mucked out of the way.
Tran tabled Ad10c for top-top. He had the best hand, but El Nasr's QsJs gave him a monster draw. The 3c on the turn was an airball, and a blank hit the river as well with the 6d. Tran somehow fades the myriad of outs, doubling his way up to 820,000.
Ivey made a fricking run today. It just amazes me.

On the last hand at his table, Phil Ivey called Huub Verdonschot's all in for 286,000. Ivey held pocket eights and Verdonschot held AQ.
The board ran out J-9-2-K-3 and Ivey won the hand, eliminating Verdonschot in the process. Ivey will now bag up about 1.4 million chips for tomorrow.

Why does he have two profiles? He has one under Ryan and the other under Dave.

take it you are looking on pokerpages.. They do that by what the tournament director fills out on the payout sheet.. Probably goes by Dave and real name is Ryan?

I was looking at the players via WSOP official site. I know him by Dave, just wondering. I hope he does well.

I always root for anyone from Louisiana.. he looks familiar though probably seen him in New Orleans.

It seems he plays in every event in New Orleans WSOP circuit. I met him, played over at his house, seems like a nice guy.

Eastgate: There are ALOT of people who consider him to be the best player to ever win a main event.
Better than the poker brat?

I would put these in same category:
Mortenson
Raymer
Moneymaker
I certainly am not on the same level as you poker knowledge-wise, but can you really put Moneymaker on the same level as Mortenson?? Or even Raymer for that matter?
