I'm sick of seeing Adrian Mateos. I mean how can someone go deep in every freaking tournament he plays in? I know he's good but dang. He's probably a nice guy but I'm just sick of seeing him on everything

This may be stupid and I always think abiut this but for you dealers.. do you prefer the auto shufflers like at the final tables/ do your hands hurt less from the lack of hand shuffling?
That's actually a very good question. I love the automatic shufflers (as do most dealers). Your hands absolutely do hurt after a while. Out here in Vegas is really bad for me because my fingers dry out so easily and I start to get little cracks like paper cuts. And when it’s on one or both of your thumbs, you grimace on every riffle.

The reason we are not currently using the shuffle masters on these feature tables is because the field is still too big. Every table in a tournament must have a shuffle master in order for them to be used. If just one table doesn’t have one, then all tables will have to hand shuffle until that table without a shuffle master breaks.

I live in Baton Rouge, so i mostly play 1-3 or 2-5 nl in baton rouge and new Orleans. I play in a private game every now and then that is 5-10nl.

I would love to play mostly 2-5 and 5-10 if it existed, but it just is impossible to find in the casinos around here..on my off days in Vegas last week, I played 5-10nl at aria and 5-10 at Wynn for the most part.

Edited to add- you didn’t win all of them, Craig lol. B/c I won the only tiger droppings tourney I ever played. It was one bigger buy in one on poker stars. Sfp, ocean, the egg, some local online players were all in it. Just sayin. lol.

Oh my god that last hand was disgusting. Makes me not want to play poker anymore

AA raises UTG. 66 calls. Board comes 44K. Bet and a call. Turn is a 6. River is an ace.

Poker is a brutal game. I like playing but the amount of suck outs on the river I've witnessed the last couple of years in small stakes cash games is unhealthy

I don't think I played the in Pokerstars one, but definitely was in on the Full Tilt ones. I'm a grinder so I finished second a lot.

He doesn’t look anything like his dad. Would never know that’s who he was

But he did make a final table earlier this year.. either 2nd or 1st I can’t remember. So he’s had a good World Series so far

I used to play 2-5nl in baton rouge back in college.
I can't imagine changing gears from the loose low stakes games to playing in the main event. Seems like not even the same game.

And yes- it’s a brutal mind-f—k playing the fish around here and then flying out to Vegas to play the main event and 5-10nl. I def have to approached hands way differently.

You have to go to TX for that now. Our 2-5 used to play like a 5-10 (and up, depending on the table, alcohol, etc.).

Most of those guys went to TX once the private clubs opened. I don't see many 2-5s anymore. I think the big PLO game still plays every now and again (that got yuge at times)
