that would be a stupid bet. Everyone knows idol is not about the best singer. It the sheepeoples interpetation of the best and the range of people who vote. just because someone wins american idol does not automatically make them the best singer on the show.

Even if I did and Lambert still won, what does that prove? America voted Taylor Hicks over Chris Daughtry. Winning that show doesn't make you musical greatness.

Adam is brilliant and incredible. Allison is good and is probably in top 3 IMO so I'm not trying to knock her at all but nobody is in adam's league.

To all of the people who used the David Bowie/Freddy Mercury/Elton John counterargument to us saying America will not like his lifestyle...please tell me what the common theme is there? Can you not see the hole in your argument? That era is over. David Bowie, Freddy Mercury, and Elton John are all from relatively the same era.
Please show me one relevant singer today - and be serious here, someone who has had a hit album or even a single in the last 10 years that is that flamboyantly gay??? Maybe i'm flat out forgetting someone, but to my knowledge, that shite don't fly today.
