Brother Wolsey sure is a piece of shite.
And Shea Wigham as Bridger is entertaining as hell.
Good to see Lucas Neff display his acting chops in a dramatic role playing the army captain, he'll always be the good hearted goofball from Raising Hope in my mind.
Thru 3 episodes, good stuff.

Peter Berg was just on the Shawn Ryan Show and the last twenty minutes are devoted to this show. Peter gives some backstory and history on BYU and the times that’s interesting to say the least.

Watched the first episode last night. I about crawled out of my bed at the end when the Morman guy got scalped.
That looked so realistic holy crap.
Talked to my Dad and he watched the entire season last night.

I did the same. I enjoyed it, but then again I’ve been a Kitsch fan since FNL so I like anything he is in.

The US Government and the Native Americans are damn near all people talk about when it comes to things that happened back then. The Mormons from that time were just as violent as anyone, yet they seem to get a pass in today’s world when it comes to a guilt trip. Except for the few TV shows and movies that actually tell the truth.

Finished ep.2, and it’s safe to say that I’m not rooting for BYU in sports ever again. Frick them Mormons!

Really happy Berg did not tip toe around the Mormons like so many directors have.
They were truly evil pieces of shite back then and I’m glad he has shoved the camera right in the thick of it.

2 episodes in. Brutal AF.
But I’m invested now… Only 6 episodes, so I’ll finish it.

5 episodes down. How has Brigham Young University not gotten canceled given his history? You’d think in the great 2020 name change era they’d change it to MU-Mormon University.
