I am jumping in. I am really impressed by the writers for the show as it relates to including a lot of the non-mainstream DC content. Although they have taken a few liberties in creating their universe, I think it works well.
As I said in a previous post, there should be an Arrow drinking game. You take a drink every time something happens. Here are my rules so far:
1. Ollie references five years on the island.
2. Ollie takes his shirt off.
3. Someone mentions Tommy.
Any others?

I think the people in this thread do a good job of not going too far with the comic spoiler stuff. Especially since the universe of the show is so different than the comic universe. Most of the time it's just people posting wikipedia links to the names referenced in the show.
It works well for me, as I'm not familiar with DC characters so I read the wiki bio and just wonder what direction or what aspect of the characters they're going to use.

Turns out it was Pro. Ivo that was running the operation on the ship.

I think that's because she has supposedly died twice now. But it could be something else, this show has so many story lines going its hard to keep up.

So much happened and so many more questions opened up. Its starting to feel like Lost used to, where I couldn't really process everything right away, just too much stuff.
I'm not saying its as good as Lost, jsut that I feel similar after watching episodes of both.
And good lord did Sara look good in some of those scenes.

I feel the same way but what Arrow does that Lost didn't is not let subplots dangle for long. So if it gets a little congested sometimes, you can feel pretty confident that they will clean it up soon.
So the assassins referred to Sara as the "beloved" and they referenced the child of Al Ghul or something to that effect. His daughter Talia showed up in DKR. I wonder if she was the set of legs we saw in the flashback world towards the end of season 1.

That's another thing I like about this season so far, it isn't taking them long to do things like reveal who Canary is, her revealing herself to her father, who is running the ship operation, ect.
I can't remember if Al Ghul had another child other than Talia in the comics. But I could see a scenario where Talia takes Sarah under her wings and personally trains her and they become close or something like that.

More of my interest is swinging back over to the flashback story. That's not to say the present is bad but I'm wondering what Ivo is working on and how it ties to those deformed skeletons that Slade and Ollie found on the island.
Sara has great tits. If this show was on a premium cable channel there would've been a lot of non consensual sex happening after she was "rescued".

Is anyone else not a fan of Caity Lotz as [Black] Canary? I don't know if its her acting, or the way her face seems to contort strangely when talking... I don't know what it is, but I am not a fan of her. I'm a little bummed at the casting of her.

I like looking at her. But you can tell she's trying really hard to stifle her Aussie accent.

Same here. I'm fine with her when she's "Sara" but as far as a hardcore assassin, she was miscast. It could've been worse I guess.
I want to see more Shado. Wish she would show up in the present.

I didn't know she was Australian. Maybe that explains why she is always talking through pursed lips. I'm sure she will improve and grow into the role in due time.
